Tina Robinson, CPA, PA

Christine "Tina" R. Robinson is an Audit Partner with more than fifteen (15) years of professional experience. Tina earned her Master of Accounting degree at the University of Florida. She was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in 1995. Tina is a member of the Florida Institute of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. She is currently a member of the FICPA State and Local Government Committee/Section, where she has been appointed to the Conference Planning Committee, participated in its Compliance Audit Guide subcommittee, and served as a CPE manual reviewer. Tina is also a member of the Government Finance Officer Association, the Florida Government Finance Officer Association, and is a director in the Palatka Sunrise Rotary Club.

Since joining Davis, Monk & Company, Tina has been the manager on the audits of several governmental entities including audits of the City of Palatka, Town of Welaka, Town of Hastings, City of St. Augustine Beach, St. Augustine Airport Authority, Palatka Housing Authority and several small special districts, as well as audits of the Officers and Boards of County Commissioners in Putnam and St. Johns counties, and previously in Alachua and Flagler counties. Her experience with Putnam, St. Johns and Alachua Counties and the City of Palatka involves preparing financial reports to aid them in earning a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

In addition to local government audits, Tina has experience in the audits of various nonprofit organizations, including Rodeheaver Boy's Ranch, Rodeheaver Foundation, Jewish Family and Community Services, and Housing Partnership of Jacksonville. Tina has also performed numerous audits of grants under the Federal Single Audit Act and Florida Single Audit Act for governmental and nonprofit entities.

Tina's recent continuing professional education has been more than sufficient to meet applicable requirements. Training in the governmental and nonprofit environment has been a large part of her continuing education. To illustrate, Tina has recently taken courses relating to the GASB 34 reporting model, GASB updates, public housing authorities, State of Florida Single Audit Act, and many other issues relating to governmental and nonprofit accounting, auditing and financial reporting.
