Eldercare Services
For a number of years, Davis, Monk & Company has offered customized services to our older clients. Our team works closely with our clients to ensure their ability to live and enjoy life independently. If you or a loved one needs assistance, we can be there to manage simple or complex financial matters – from paying bills on time to providing estate and tax planning services. Personal services can also be coordinated, from arranging in-home medical care to scheduling home maintenance.
Be assured that we will seek to understand your needs before proposing solutions. We'll develop a customized plan to help you only in the areas where you need assistance. Our services include:
- Examination and discussion of mail, invoices, income, investment notices and other bank correspondence
- Recording payments and income and completing deposit slips
- Reconciliation of banking, credit and investment accounts
- Preparation of domestic payroll (housekeeper, gardener, nurse, etc.)
- Organization and maintenance of files/records
- Computer transactions (provide unaudited financial statement and other computer reports as requested)
- Coordination with our tax department for income tax preparation and planning
- Coordination of day-to-day needs (with primary caregiver, family members, attorney, etc.)
- Preparation of asset listing for estate attorney/personal representative
- Assistance in health care arrangements with family or attorney
- Coordination of meetings among care providers, attorneys, advisors and/or family members
- Review Social Security and other retirement benefits and payments
- Coordination with your legal representative
- Reconciliation of Medicare and private health plans
